Shikha Dhiman
Mohit Kumar
I am from Sonipat, Haryana, India. I earned my bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi, India. Following my graduation, I pursued a master´s degree in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where my thesis was focused on the development of small molecules targeting the Bcl-2 family of proteins. In November 2023, I joined Prof. Dhiman´s lab as a Ph.D. student where my research involves exploring supramolecular self-assembly at liquid-liquid interfaces.
Riccardo Di Forti
My name is Riccardo Di Forti, I grew up in Palermo where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree and Master degree in Chemistry cum laude in the University of Palermo in 2023. I have passion for Organic Chemistry and did part of my studies in Namur, Belgium. Now I am a PhD student in the Dhiman research group at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Germany. My research interests are the Organic Chemistry, Immune therapy and Supramolecular chemistry.
Dr. Surbhi Sharma
My Name is Surbhi Sharma. I grew up in India and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Rohilkhand University 2011 and my Master degree in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University in 2013. I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry, entitled “Synthesis, characterization of new metal-based antitumor chemotherapeutic compounds and their biological evaluation” from Aligarh Muslim University. Afterwards, I joined postdoctoral research at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), India ‘structural and temporal control in fuel driven self-assembled system”, in the supervision of Prof. Subi Jacob George. Later I joined as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, Chandigarh University, Mohali, India in 2019. Now I am a Postdoctoral researcher in the Bioinspired Supramolecular Systems research group at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Germany.
Daria Kozlova
I am a B.Sc. Biomedical Chemistry student originally from Russia, currently pursuing my degree at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Driven by passion for chemistry, I joined the group as a research assistant. My scientific interests extend to Pharmaceutical-Medicinal chemistry, Toxicology and Organic Synthesis.
Jesús Ángel Toboso Saiz
I am Jesús Ángel Toboso Saiz and I am from Spain, I did my bachelor’s degree in chemistry in Valencia. During my last bachelor’s year, I decided to do an exchange at the Jyväskylä University in Finland. I loved the educational system there and all the opportunities given to the students, so I started my master’s degree in Nanoscience with chemistry as my major. Now I’m doing an exchange for my master’s thesis project at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz where I will work with coacervates and its spectroscopic analysis.
